he promoted Tom Dunne to 3rd Black and Bart Vale to 1st Black

And that is why Mr Parker wanted to do his own style because he new it was just a matter of time before 
his students out ranked him, you got to remember that William Chow only promoted Ed Parker Sr to
3rd Black in Chinese Kenpo and Mr Parker thought that Tom Dunne was already above him (Mr Parker )
